Andy Cessford has rocked dance floors worldwide with his signature style of melodic and groove filled house and techno beats. The Nottingham based DJ continues to prove himself as a producer of quality house and techno music.

Having studied music production at Subbass and more recently gained a BSc (Hons.) in Music Technology, Andy has an ever expanding catalogue of releases under his own name and Loop Corporation on labels such as Rapid Fire Records (USA), BASSment Records (Aus), Amp Head Music (Aus), 8 Ball Records (UK) and his own imprint Discombobulate. He has received support from BBC Radio Nottingham’s The Beat Show, hosted by Dean Jackson (The largest listened to show outside London, syndicated across the Midlands), and Simon Saunders of Passion FM. His remix of Cowgirl by Underworld was picked up and supported by Mixmag’s Janette Slack. His latest remixes of The Source Ft Candi Staton’s You’ve Got The Love and the seminal classic Blue Monday by New Order have received support from DJ’s globally.

In 2008 Andy set up the Loop Corporation pseudonym to make full use of the technology out there. Using a laptop and Ableton as a DJ platform and midi controllers to remix, edit and manipulate tracks on the fly, Loop Corporation sets deliver a unique live performance of his own material.

With such a vast musical armory at his disposal and having John Taylor (Punx Soundcheck) at Subbass teach him all the DJ tricks of the trade, it is no wonder Andy has graced the decks for many top club nights and venues such as The Gallery at Turnmills and the Ministry of Sound, Dirty / Promised / Twilo at Pacha, Heat / Frantic at the Brixton Academy, Spectrum / Supersonic Vague / White Party at Gatecrasher. He also hosted a weekly radio show on World Dance FM broadcasting to an international audience.
